Former Dallas Morning News columnist Helen Bryant/now Austin American Statesman travel columnist/blogger Helen Anders wrote a travel article about a program in Aspen largely funded by Dallasites Cheryl and Sam Wyly and managed by another Dallas local, Seth Sachson. It’s a marvelous win-win situation. Just wondering if such a project would be possible for some of Dallas’s burgeoning park areas, like the Trinity or Turtle Creek areas.
Even if we haven’t got mountains to hike, we’ve got loads of dogs in need of homes and folks who would love to have a temporary best friend for a stroll.
