While the Housing Crisis Center has transitioned to Home Point, the need hasn’t changed. The organization is still committed to “promoting shelter, support and housing instability” to individuals, families and veterans dealing with homelessness and housing instability.
It’s been a while since the organization had a fundraising event but, with the new name, it was time for one. The answer was the inaugural “All Points Home Gala.”
Yesterday, Home Point Board Chair Carolyn Goelzer, All Points Home Gala Chair/Board Member Catherine Jaynes, Host Committee Member Kerri Briggs and Jessica Wilson got together to send out “Last Call” letters for the fundraiser taking place on Thursday, February 6, at On The Levee.

In addition to having Katherine and Austin Wyker serve as honorary co-chairs, the cowboy chic event will have a silent auction and delicious food and beverages.
But the highlight of the night will be a performance by the “Red Headed Stranger Willie Nelson Tribute” by Wallace Poole singing outlaw selections from “Whiskey River” to timeless classics including “Stardust” and “Georgia.”
While tickets are going for $300, sponsorships are ranging from $1,500-$5,000. Proceeds from All Points Home Gala will support Home Point’s various homelessness prevention programs and services.
