Word has just arrived that the CitySquare group has added two more legendary ladies to its cast of notables for the Saturday, September 6th fundraiser, “A Night To Remember.”

In addition to Aretha Franklin on stage at the Winspear Opera House, Annette Simmons and her daughter Amy Simmons will be the honorary chairs for CitySquare’s 25th anniversary.

Just goes to show how the hard work of Cindy and Scott Collier and Kara and Ross Miller are helping Larry James and his troops are fighting “poverty through service, advocacy and friendship with programs that feed the hungry, heal the sick, house the homeless and renew hope in the heart of the city.”
This occasion will be a triple “brava” experience. What a night to be remembered it will be!
