The 2018 Attorneys Serving the Community Luncheon — Pot Of Gold luncheon benefiting Rainbow Days Inc. — on Friday, June 22, was filled with all types of activities at the Hilton Anatole. In addition to knock-it-out-of-the-park speaker Liz Murray, Rainbow Days munchkins performing and Rainbow Days Founder Cathey Brown making her final public appearance before retiring, a whole lot of money was being hauled in for Rainbow Days.
The final dollar count just arrived. The luncheon itself netted $183,055. But add in the $41,142 resulting from Nancy Ann Hunt’s match challenge for individual donations, the grand total on the check for Rainbow Days was $224,197.
BTW, 2019 ASC Luncheon Lead Chair Jessica O’Neill has already lined up Mosaic Family Services to be the event’s beneficiary.
